My name is Lori Nicholson. I have amassed a small library of good books for donation to any band who would like to have them. I was inspired to start collecting books for reservations by a documentary hosting Gov. Gen. Pierre La Plant, and his suggestion for books for reservations.
I am also moved to do so by the fact of the high incidence of suicide in reserve communities and the lack of more input into expanding minds and imagination, what books can also help to do.
If you know of any band or any elders who would like to take the initiative to take these books I have 8 boxes to start. Lots of self help, people, histories, to film and television lots more ect.
I have purchased them from many book sales and is a gift of love for any one who wishes to pursue "Books for Reservations". The cost of shipping only need be covered.
